This holiday park houses over 100 privately owned holiday caravans, as well as offering seven holiday chalets for hire by holidaymakers who enjoy booking some of their breaks in holiday lodges in Kent. There are acres of open landscape to be enjoyed at the park, while facilities provided for guests’ comfort include a laundrette.

The park is just fifty yards from the beach, separated from the sands by the road than runs along the side of the site. Despite being a popular location with tourists, the beach is usually quiet and clean, with the calm waters perfect for families looking to enjoy paddling, swimming, water sports, sailing, or fishing holidays. If you prefer not to spend all your holiday time on the beach you will find plenty to do across the park, where you’ll find a children’s playing field and a football pitch available, along with a large field designated for dog walking.

There is also access to half a mile of rivers and streams within the park, perfect for guests who enjoy fishing and are looking for a relaxing day by the waterside.

Waldens has a well-stocked on-site shop that ensures guests can always get their holiday essentials and groceries during their stay. The shop sells milk and fresh bread along with beach supplies such as buckets and spades, kites, and windbreakers. There is a café found next to the shop that sells some great food and is very popular among guests at Waldens.

The park is situated in an ideal location for any guests interested in exploring the rest of Kent. Herne Bay and Margate are found just a little further along the coast, while the town of Whitstable close to the park is also a great place to spend the day. In the opposite direction, guests can cross to the Isle of Sheppey where they’ll find the popular seaside resort of Leysdown-on-Sea.

Guests that love the outdoors won’t be disappointed by what they find across Kent, either. A short drive to the south will encounter the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a wonderful location for exploring at leisure or for finding a wide range of organised activities and pursuits. History lovers should head west to discover the Medway Towns, and specifically Rochester, where Charles Dickens was born and spent most of his life. Canterbury is another historically significant location found close by, with a cathedral and some amazing architecture to enjoy.

Anyone looking to find the trappings of modern life should visit Maidstone or Ashford, where they will discover shopping, leisure, and entertainment facilities aplenty. Those feeling extra adventurous might even choose to take the train across to France for the day, while there is also the option of driving to Dover and taking the ferry.

Waldens of Seasalter is a holiday park that offers its regular guests plenty of things to do in Whitstable and in the immediate vicinity of the park, as well as providing the perfect platform from which to discover the best of Kent, and is a great place for a family break.

So if you’re looking for holiday caravans for sale and chalets to let in Kent, Waldens of Seasalter is a good holiday park to consider.
