Tanglewood Holiday Park was established in 1983, and is a family business. It is located in a peaceful setting for privately owned caravans, situated in the heart of Mid South Dorset. Tanglewood is within easy reach of The New Forest, The Isle of Purbecks and stunning beaches such as Sandbanks beach, ~ all areas of outstanding natural beauty in all seasons.
Tanglewood Holiday Park is open from the 1st March until the 16th January each year, and is well suited to couples and families and some of our private owners often let their caravan for short holidays. Our caravan owners are of all ages and we are favoured by lovers of outdoor and walking holidays as we are within a stones throw of Wareham Forestry.
The Country Town of Dorchester, The Hardy County Centre, Bournemouth and Poole with their excellent shopping facilities and beaches, the quieter towns of Swanage and Weymouth with their Picturesque harbours are all within a 20 mile radius from the park.
With 49 hard standing pitches, we offer you the opportunity to purchase a holiday home on the park set in natural surroundings. Each pitch benefits from it’s own parking space and grassed area.
Just a few minutes walk from Tanglewood Park (next to/within the same entrance), you will find a great family pub with food.
