Things to do;
Take the water taxi to Plymouth’s historic Barbican, where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for America. We love wandering along the cobbles, browsing in the antiques shops and independent restaurants and obligatory fish and chip shops.
Continue on to the Hoe, if you are feeling energetic climb to the top of the iconic lighthouse – Smeatons Tower and be rewarded with 360 views, or take a dip on the 1930’s sea water lido. Beatles fans can sit where John and all sat to have their picture taken whilst making their Magical Mystery Tour film.
Play Golf at Staddon Heights – a stunning cliff top course with views over Cornwall to Dartmoor
The South West coast path runs along the bottom of our holiday Park – explore Devon’s dramatic coast line in both directions – you can even stop for a pub lunch along the way!
Explore Royal William Yard and take the Cremyll ferry (foot passenger) to Mount Edgcombe, explore the grounds and walk to the fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand
There are many National Trust properties are nearby – Saltram, Antony, Cotehele
Go on a snorkel safari or rock pool ramble at Wembury Beach – a national marine conservation area
Visit Plymouths new museum, art gallery and cultural centre – The Box. It’s your chance to get up close to a woolly mammoth!
